Monarchs and other butterflies lay their eggs on native plants like milkweed, and to survive they also need plants that provide nectar. Seed balls are made with seeds, clay, and compost and are a great way to get these important plants growing in a wild area or just a corner of your backyard. Everyone is welcome, and kids are especially encouraged to attend.
If you’d like to help the butterflies (and bees, too!), come to this workshop and make your own seed balls to plant this spring.
