The second series of lectures in our third annual Native Plant Symposium, is set for Thursday, April 30. This free online event will be hosted on Zoom and begins at 7 p.m. Eastern Time (6 p.m Central).

The speakers and their talks include

  • Sue Trull, botanist for the Ottawa National Forest, “Monarchs and Milkweeds—All Hands on Deck.”
  • Jackie Manchester-Kempke, of Houghton, an extension master gardener, “Using Native Plants to Support Pollinators”
