Blue Vervain, also known as Blue Verbena, settles right in to most Keweenaw gardens. It’s tiny flowers atop a single strong stem are an intense violet blue and are often bedecked with pollinators. It will reseed, lending its deep blue accents to other plants throughout the garden. But don’t worry; it’s easy to pull, though the bees will thank you for letting it be.
