About Krist Meadow
The meadow is located in Hancoock, between the Krist Oil gas station on Quincy Street and the city’s welcome sign. Marcia Goodrich led the effort to eliminate old-field weeds and plant natives here for a few years in the late-2010s before throwing in the towel. Fortunately, Allyson Jabusch picked that towel up and ran with it, and now this little space is finally getting the care it deserves.

Once the dust cleared, they found quite a few natives that had been hiding in the weeds, including cupplants, monarda, and blue-eyed grass. The lance-leaf coreopsis are doing great!
