Native Plant Landscapers and Other Pros

Mary Richardson is passionate about land preservation and re-wilding. Having earned a degree in landscape architecture in 2006, she has since pursued Master Gardener, Michigan Natural Shoreline Professional, and Conservation Steward certifications with the MSU Extension. Her services include

  • site analysis and consultation
  • EGLE/DEQ/Army Corp shoreline permitting
  • 3D modeling
  • master site plan development
  • planting plans
  • hardscape plans
  • material selection support

Some of her favorite Michigan native plants include Campanula, Gentiana, Pearly Everlasting, Sundews, and Maidenhair Fern.

I would SO love to be able to help encourage homeowners to utilize natives and items that support full habitat for all critters!

Richardson Landscaping, formerly of Petoskey, is now based in Naubinway and Munising. Mary says she is interested in traveling to the Keweenaw as her schedule allows.

Happy Bee Garden Service

Happy Bee also offers skilled handy-person work such as carpentry, paver patio repair and other household repair work. Small jobs only.

Happy Bee Garden Service is not a typical Landscaping company.  Happy Bee does NOT do lawn work or mowing and does NOT apply herbicides or pesticides under any circumstances.  Happy Bee doesn’t typically do garden design work because they usually specialize in maintenance of existing gardens and landscapes.

Brendon and the gardening service moved to the Keweenaw in 2020.  Brendon can be reached at 906 369 1385 or email [email protected] . Here’s a link to the business Facebook page
