Perhaps the most recognizable wetland plant in the Keweenaw, Joe Pye weed is beloved for its rosy blooms which enliven the landscape from summer into early fall. A great pollinator plant, birds also favor its seeds. Tall, so if you are thinking of putting this stunner in your damp garden, make sure to place it toward the back.
