This rare and unusual vine is listed as being of special concern in Michigan, which is reason enough to grow it if you’ve got the right conditions. It’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Purple clematis isn’t the easiest plant to grow from seed, so we’re proud to be able to offer it. Plant it in your yard in a place where it can climb an arbor or bush; it flowers better in sun.
