Valued for late-season color and sprays of delicate lavender-blue flowers. Sky blue aster may look delicate, but it is one tough cooky and doesn’t blink an eye at the occasional summer drought. Great for naturalizing and also a good garden plant, it pairs well with showy goldenrod.
