Best milkweed for wetter conditions and beloved by pollinators, as well as a host for Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies. Unlike Common Milkweed, Red Milkweed is well behaved and will stay put, though it’s such a neat plant you may wish it would ramble more.

Once well established, leave it be. It’s taproot resists relocation.
